Building Relationships Between Procurement and Estates

A recent article from the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium highlighted that their member spend in Estates during 15/16 totalled £1.08 billion, this covered everything from minor works and regulatory testing all the way up to major building projects and infrastructure development. With this vast amount of spend, the importance of Procurement Departments working closely with Estates Departments to ensure that spend provides value is evident.
Three SUPC members, Helen Baker, Robin Hare and Max Hubbard, shared their experiences and the benefits of having a better working relationship. Their full article can be read here.
