A joint Higher Education Design Quality Forum (HEDQF) and AUDE venture to the new University Buildings in Copenhagen including the IT University, Tietgen College and the Maersk Tower . A two-day tour of recent developments in Copenhagen’s university design quality comprising building tours by architects, clients and students.

  • 3 May 14.00 CEST IT-Universitetet

          Two new buildings around a dynamic atrium with cantilevered, see-through, ‘open drawer’ rooms.

          Rued Langgaards Vej 7 - Nearest Metro station is Islands Brygge (8 minutes’ walk)

 

  • 3 May 15.15 CEST Tietgenkollegiet

          A student residence with a conspicuous circular shape inspired by traditional southern Chinese Hakka architecture.

          Rued Langgaards Vej 1- 2 minutes’ walk from IT-Universitetet and nearest Metro station is Islands Brygge (6 minutes’ walk)

 

  • 3 May 17.00 CEST Henning Larson

          A presentation and debate on recent developments in university design quality in Copenhagen.

          Vesterbrogade 76 - 45 minutes’ walk from Tietgenkollegiet and nearest Metro is Forum (15 minutes’ walk)

 

  • 3 May 20.30 CEST dinner at Madklubben

          ‘An urban, vibrant eatery packed with great design’. Drinks sponsored by Buro Happold.

  • 4 May 10.00 CEST Mærsk Tårnet

          An extension of Panum, the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

We are limited to 25 delegates in total. In order to encourage a balance, 12 of the places will be held for HEIs (incl. 5 for AUDE members) until 12th April. Also, places will be limited to one per firm or institution until the 12th April. Anyone who is interested in attending (even if others from their firm or institution have done so already) should register here as soon as possible as applications will be ordered by the date received. We will contact you as soon as possible to advise you if you have secured a place and to request payment via Eventbrite. Only if we are oversubscribed would consultants or extra colleagues need to wait until after 12th April.
