Learning & Development Group

Aim

AUDE believe that learning and development should be at the heart of a high performing estates and facilities team.  As part of our role we will develop your knowledge through networking, providing you with relevant resources and a variety of events.  If you have any thoughts or ideas for future programmes please contact Corinne.

AUDE Learning & Development Group

This proposal set outs the idea of forming a sub-group within AUDE for HE sector professionals whose remit is responsible for the delivery of learning and development programmes based upon:

  • knowledge sharing
  • staff/skills development
  • identifying opportunities
  • commitment in continuous development

The group would comprise a number of sector colleagues already experienced and active in this area that could meet 3 to 4 times a year, initially setting objectives for the year (to be agreed by the AUDE Executive) and then delivering these through regionally organised seminars and workshops and the establishment of a knowledge base within the AUDE website.

Group Members

  • Chaired by Trevor Wills, Director of Estates & Facilities, University of Plymouth
  • Ghazwa Alwani-Starr, Director of Property and Facilities Management, University of London
  • David Fulford, Director of Facilities Development, Loughborough University
  • Paul Morris, Director of Estates, Lancaster University
  • Bill Moffitt, Head of Estates Management, University of the West of Scotland
  • Colin Blair, Director of Estates and Facilities, Huddersfield University (Past Chair)
