AUDE new Business Partner - Skanska UK

04 March 2026      Martin Higgs, Communications and Campaigns Manager

AUDE partners with a limited number of suppliers across Higher Education estates, and we are very pleased to welcome Skanska UK to the ranks of our Business Partners. We select partnerships on the basis of the value and insight a partner can offer our members — university estates and facilities directors and their teams across the UK and beyond. Over the next 12 months, Skanska UK will contribute expertise across a wide range of topics relevant to the management and future development of the university estate.

Skanska UK brings a substantial track record in low‑carbon estate operations, digital asset management, and whole‑life estate planning — areas of strategic importance to AUDE members as universities respond to sustainable development targets, regulatory change and the demands of complex capital and operational programmes. Their experience in lifecycle asset management, estate optimisation, maintenance and refurbishment planning, and embodied‑carbon reduction will provide AUDE members with practical insight and new thinking for resilient, efficient campus operations.

Jane HarrisonWhite, AUDE Executive Director, said: “Skanska is widely recognised for advancing sustainable estate management and responsible delivery. Their approach to campus transformation and asset performance will bring practical examples to AUDE members at exactly the moment when our sector is looking for proven, scalable approaches to decarbonisation and resilience. We look forward to working with Skanska UK and helping our members benefit from the breadth of their capabilities.”

Jane Cooper, Operations Director, Skanska UK, said: “We are proud to join AUDE as a Business Partner. Universities are at the forefront of the UK’s transition to a low‑carbon future, and we see huge opportunity in working alongside AUDE members to support estates teams as they plan and deliver their next generation of projects. We’re particularly keen to share our learning around net‑zero pathways, digital estate optimisation, and efficient estate management practices — all of which are increasingly essential to long‑term campus planning in a world where resources must be used wisely."
