At Equans, we’re passionate about reaching net zero, but recognise that adapting to the immediate impacts of climate change is now a critical priority too. Global carbon emissions continue to rise, and the UK’s climate is already changing. The Met Office’s latest climate model is clear that even under low emissions scenarios, the UK will experience hotter summers; wetter winters; and more frequent and severe storms. These changes in climate will have significant impacts for buildings and infrastructure, and raise important new questions about building safety, occupant health and wellbeing, and operational performance.
In this webinar, Karl Limbert, Director of Strategy at Equans UK & Ireland, will lead a discussion on the scale of climate risks faced by buildings, the best practices that can enhance climate resilience, and some examples that demonstrate how climate resilience projects can unlock multiple benefits.
