AUDE are inviting members to join an Arup hosted webinar as the team present the findings from the Climate Change, Adaptation & Resilience Guide. The Arup team will take you through the findings from member insights and key messaging from the guide ahead of full publication.

Dr. Roddy Yarr, Director of Sustainability, university of Glasgow and chair of the AUDE Sustainability Advisory Group
Roddy will introduce colleagues from Arup
Sophie West, Senior Consultant, Arup
Sophie is a senior sustainability consultant at Arup with over seven years of experience working in sustainability and climate change in the built environment, both within industry and consulting. Sophie specialises in operational sustainability, including ESG strategy and reporting, and climate risk, resilience and adaptation.
Sophie is passionate about embedding sustainability and climate change resilience across all areas of an organisation, ensuring that it is not only seen as an element of strategy but a core part of organisation culture.
Nikki Kent, Senior Consultant Climate Change, Arup
Nikki is an experienced Senior Consultant in Climate Resilience based in Arup’s Climate and Sustainability Services Portfolio. She is a technical specialist and project manager in climate impacts, vulnerability, resilience and climate change adaptation. Nikki is involved in providing technical advice on, reviewing and undertaking climate resilience technical work, climate data for climate change risk assessments and the development of tools and guidelines for property owners and developers, cities, infrastructure and development projects. She has a focus on cities, transport infrastructure, climate data tool development including climate data extraction, interpretation, and application and has recently started working on applying her skills to property and housing.
Andy Sheppard, Associate Director, Sustainability, Arup
Andy is an Associate Director in Arup leading Sustainable Buildings across the North West and Yorkshire. He has been a specialist dedicated to sustainable buildings for 17 years and leads a team of highly varied experts. Andy has extensive knowledge of the HE sector, working at a sector-level for AUDE and EAUC along with many individual institutions. Andy has particular interest in making sustainable solutions pragmatic & implementable as opposed to idealistic & ignored and, within this, a focus on decarbonisation, health & wellbeing and climate adaptation & resilience. Outside of work he chairs the Sheffield Sustainability Network helping SMEs on their sustainability journey.
