Synopsis:
Sadie Janes and Neil Rowley from Savills Education will provide their regular property and planning update to all AUDE members. This will consider key changes in the planning system with the forthcoming NPPF and current property market conditions across the key sectors, amidst a challenging and uncertain political and economic environment. Sadie and Neil will then reflect on how this will impact and influence the higher education estate. Following the presentation, a Q & A will allow AUDE members to ask questions and contribute to the conversation.

Sadie Janes, Director / Co-Lead of Savills Education
Sadie established Savills Education and co-leads the sector group. She is Head of Midlands Development, specialising in producing complex estate strategies and solutions for major strategic sites. Sadie has over two decades of experience advising universities, colleges, and schools, to include leading on campus relocations, R&D led estate solutions, and property focused estate strategies and strategic divestment plans.
Neil Rowley, Director/ Savills Education
Neil is a senior Director in Savills Commercial Planning Team and is also the Planning Lead for Education at Savills. He has significant experience advising on complex planning matters for commercial and residential development. This includes advising on several notable education projects for universities, colleges, and schools. Recent projects include securing outline planning permissions for the delivery of a new university campus, involvement in new buildings and estate masterplans for universities and advising on school estate masterplans with follow up applications for projects such as new boarding houses and conversions.
