Title: Sustainability Insight Finder
Time: 14.00 - 15.00
Date: 18 August 2026
Synopsis:
The SustAInability Insight Finder is an AI-assisted sustainability platform developed at the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI), University of East London (UEL). It brings operational and research sustainability data into a single environment with dashboards, an AI-powered chatbot, search, automated reporting and analytics, reducing the significant staff time previously spent assembling figures from league-table sources such as People & Planet and the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. It makes UEL's net-zero and sustainability activity clearly visible, and gives staff and students a single place to see how sustainability relates to their studies and which green skills matter for their careers. The session demonstrates the platform live and looks at its development, current capabilities, and roadmap towards live institutional data integration.
