The third AUDE Big Conversation event took place on 24 January 2019 at the McEwan Hall, The University of Edinburgh.
150 delegates attended, a mix of directors of estates, directors of finance and commercial organisations. Focusing on two main themes - HE finance and state of the estate, provided an open forum and opportunities for discussions and exchanges for the delegates attending to consider and reflect on.
The event allowed for debate and idea sharing from estates teams across the country, with input from speakers such as Professor Peter Mathieson, Principal and Vice-Chancellor, The University of Edinburgh, Patrick Hackett, Registrar, Secretary, and Chief Operating Officer, The University of Manchester, Smita Jamdar, Partner and Head of Education, Shakespeare Martineau LLP and Ant Bagshaw, Director, Nous Group.
