Bookings now closed - looking forward to see you at the AUDE Awards 2024

The Glasshouse International Centre for Music

The Gala Dinner and AUDE Awards 2024 is taking place on Wednesday 17 April at the prestigious venue in Newcastle The Glasshouse International Centre for Music.

A drinks reception will be held from 19:00-20:00, followed by dinner from 20:00-22:00, then the awards from 22:00 – 23:10. The evening will finish at 00:00.

The Gala Dinner is a night of celebration, there is no set dress code, although from previous years we share with you that many guests choose to dress formally, and we often see evening gowns and black ties. However, the Gala Dinner is inclusive of any kind of attire and we do encourage individual, regional, sustainably-sourced, and ethical attire.

A big thank you to our awards supporter: Trilogy, our drinks reception supporter Overbury and our dinner supporter UPP

How to find us….

The Glasshouse International Centre for Music GOOGLE MAPS

Hop on a train
The nearest station is Newcastle Central, about a 20-minute walk away. And there’s a lot of options for your stroll – once you get down through the city you can come across the Art-Deco style Tyne Bridge, the Grade-1-listed High Level Bridge, or the Swing Bridge if you want to be closer to the water. Or you can wander along the quayside for a bit before crossing underneath the colourful lights of the Millennium Bridge.

Ride the Metro
The closest Metro station is Gateshead, about a 10-minute walk away.

Catch the bus
There have been quite a few changes to local bus routes and some of the stops nearest to venue are not currently available. You can get all the latest info on the Go North East website.

Come by car
If you’re driving then the best postcode to tap into your map app is NE8 2BA, as that will bring you straight to the car park. And no need to worry about the new Clean Air Zone in the city – it’s only for vehicles like buses, coaches, and vans. Private cars aren’t affected. For more info on car parking, including how much it costs and Blue Badge access, all the detail are on the venues parking page.

Take a taxi
There is drop-off point right next to the West entrance, in the turning circle on the Tyne Bridge side of the building.

If you require a taxi, you can also use one of the following numbers:
